

ABOUT
Dana Brewer
Dana has been an economic development research and planning professional for over 20 years, including work as a consultant and practitioner. Dana was lead researcher for the State of Georgia's Department of Economic Development for nine years and then for the state's workforce development agency — WorkSource Georgia — for two.
Before her practitioner experience, Dana worked in a community consulting role for Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute. Her project experience includes community outreach, data analysis, best practice research, and strategic plan writing.
While she is most recognized for her research and analysis to support economic development projects, her recent experience includes in-demand occupational analysis for workforce development and economic resiliency building as part of disaster recovery.
Dana holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning with a specialization in economic development from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Public Policy from Duke University. She resides in Dunwoody, Georgia with her family.
