RFI Support for Local Economic Development Organizations

Adding Capacity When Yours is Limited

It always happens amid everything happening all at once at work and home: you get that long-awaited call from the state regional economic development organization to say a prospect wants a look at your site. And, of course, they need your help with information on your site, taxes, area workforce, education and workforce development resources, and more. How do you quickly create the capacity to respond on a last minute deadline?

You call me. Whether it is a one-time small project or you want to keep me on for a retainer-like agreement, I can help with your prospect RFI responses and library of information for when a prospect calls. I can also assist with mirroring this information in your website content.

Below are the different ways in which we may structure our partnership.

Hourly Rate

When you get word a prospect wants to look at your community, call me to quickly sign a contract that confirms the scope of work and payment. Once working for you, I will conscientiously track use of my time for hourly billing. My experience as a veteran in RFI responses and my expert knowledge of available, reputable data sources will efficiently produce quality work for your organization's use.

Set Amount

Call me today to determine a contract amount to expire in an agreed upon number of months. Once exectuted, each time you ask for work for a prospect response or other assistance, I will invoice you at the end of the month based on time spent, and no more. If the contractual amount is exhausted before end of the contract, we can agree to a new contract. Or, if there are remaining agreed upon dollars when the contract expires, you keep those unspent dollars if you do not want to extend the contract. I will not invoice you for unused time.

Alternate

I am happy to discuss other structures to our work together that better suit your organization's spending decision-making structure.
